Dr. Lorraine Remer Elected Fellow of AGU

Dr. Lorraine Remer, a Research Professor of Physics Department (also affiliated with the Department of Geography and Environmental Systems) and a senior research scientist of JCET, has been elected to the Class of 2015 Fellows of the American Geophysical Union (AGU).

“Being elected a Union Fellow is a tribute to those AGU members who have made exceptional contributions to Earth and space sciences as valued by their peers and vetted by section and focus group committees,” read the AGU announcement. “This honor is bestowed on only 0.1 percent of the membership in any given year.”
