Recent PhD's make breakthrough in quantum comm. research!
In their roles as Research Scientists at the Army Research
Laboratory (Adelphi, MD), recent UMBC graduates Dr. Brian Kirby '15 and Dr.
Dan Jones '16 have discovered a novel way to safeguard quantum information
during transmission through long-distance fiber channels. The full
