Description

TITLE:
Albert Einstein  -The man behind the myth  -The secret behind the success

ABSTRACT:
Albert Einstein’s fame beyond the scientific community is unmet up to this day. He still serves as an inspiration and role model for scientists and adolescent minds across all areas. In a time span of 20 years he transformed humankind’s understanding of nature on every scale, from the atom to the cosmos. This year’s Mulligan Lecture is about Albert Einstein’s exceptional journey towards extraordinary discoveries.
-Why were his ideas so revolutionary? -What enabled him to catch a glimpse of the true beauty of nature before anybody else? -And what can we learn from this man who was born over a century ago but was wise beyond his time? These questions among others will be answered in the Mulligan lecture on May 14th.
Dessert Reception will begin at 1pm. Lecture will begin at 1:45pm.
