Prof. Deffner in collaboration with Dr. Campbell from the Trinity College Dublin, Ireland publish the first introductory, graduate level textbook on Quantum Thermodynamics. The book focuses on the relation of Quantum Thermodynamics to Quantum Information and its implications for quantum computers and next generation quantum technologies. Aimed at graduate level physics students with a working knowledge of quantum mechanics and statistical physics this text introduces the reader to some more state-of-the-art topics in this exciting and rapidly developing research field.
