Graduate Students Kick Off Orientation Week with Picnic

The Department of Physics welcomed its largest incoming class of graduate students ever on Monday, August 21. The students participated in a full day of orientation activities, including an information session, a tour of the department, and a picture-taking session. In the evening, the Physics Graduate Student Association hosted a picnic at Patapsco State Park. The picnic was a great opportunity for the students to get to know each other and learn more about the department. They enjoyed food, games, and conversation.
