Physics Undergraduates Conduct Cutting-Edge Astronomy Research in Hawaiʻi

UMBC News recently highlighted a 10-week research program that sent undergraduate students Morgan Robbins and Noah Reichardt to the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa to study supermassive black holes and galaxy evolution. Supported by an NSF grant led by Prof. Adi Foord, the students collaborated with an international team of researchers using data from JWST and the Subaru Telescope.
